Together, we have examined the promises of Romans 3 through 5. Let’s circle back to Romans 4:5. This time, however, let’s look to the Joseph Smith Translation of the Bible, also called the Inspired Version.

Reliable Bible translations speak of God who justifies ungodly sinners. This justification is available to all simply because they believe. It speaks of justification for you and me. Instead of reading, “Him that justifieth the ungodly”, Smith wrote, “him who justifieth not the ungodly (emphasis added).”
